Evans - EMAD

Take the pillow out of your bass drum and get an EMAD! An ideal balance of punch, power, and low-end...the EMAD is a 10mil 1-ply head that employs an externally mounted adjustable damping system with two interchangeable damping rings that allow the player to adjust attack and focus. It delivers a singular oomph that'll support the fattest of backbeats. The coated version has additional warmth, focus, and depth.

Evans - EMAD 2

With a sharp attack and a focused and pronounced low-end, the EMAD2 is a 2-ply version of the popular original EMAD. The combination of a 7mil outer ply and 10mil inner ply offer extreme durability, while the two interchangeable damping rings allow the player to adjust sustain and feel. Together, they offer control, low-end, and articulation well suited to heavy rock and double bass.

NEW: Evans - EMAD Onyx

The EMAD Onyx utilizes a single ply of 10mil black film with an improved EMAD damping ring and a micro-clear coated that produces an extra dark sound while delivering additional punch.

NEW: Evans - GMAD

The exclusive 12mil film of the G PLUS combined with an improved EMAD damping system delivers increased low-end, punch, and power. It is ideal for heavier hitters looking for a solid sound and more life to the head but prefer the feel of a single-ply.

Evans - EQ1 Bass (Batter)

With an interior removable EQ muffle ring, built-in internal overtone control ring, and dry vents, the 10mil single-ply EQ1 provides the definitive out-of-the-box mix of punch and sustain. The coated version has additional warmth, focus, and depth.

Evans - EQ2 Bass (Batter)

An extra-durable two-ply head (10mil external ply, 6.5mil internal ply) with an internal overtone control ring, a removable EQ muffle ring, and dry-vents...the EQ2 gives the microphone what it wants to hear, yet can project without mikes.

Evans - EQ3 Bass (Batter)

Controlled low-end rumble and focused attack characterize the EQ3 bass head. A two-ply (6.5mil each) with an internal overtone control ring and an EQ muffle ring, it'll hold up under heavy hitting. The coated version has additional warmth, focus, and depth.

Evans - EQ4 Bass (Batter)

The 10mil single-ply EQ4 provides durability and slap without sacrificing low-end. The width of the internal control ring varies in proportion to head diameter, optimizing control. The coating adds additional warmth, focus, and depth.

Evans - Hydraulic Bass (Batter)

A classic sound, short in sustain. Tension it tight for a real thump or loose and slappy. Two plies sandwich a thin film of oil that supresses unwanted overtones. Choose from Clear, Blue or Black finish.

Evans - G1 Bass (Batter)

A straight 10mil 1-ply with a bright sustain and broad tuning range, the G1 is a starting point in traditional bass drum sounds. Tuned in the Bop range, it blends seemlessly with toms and provides subtle reinforcement for the bass line.

Evans - G2 Bass (Batter)

The two 7mil plies of the G2 bass head offer a wide-open response and undeniably fat low-end. It delivers an open, full resonance that you can tailor to taste with any manor of internal damping.
