Baskey - Rash Pad

Eliminate 'snare rash', scratches and chips to your toms and bass drum. No drilling, no tools or skills, can be fitted in seconds to 10", 12", 13" and 14" rack toms and 20", 22" and 24" bass drums. This device protects the surface of the drum closest to the batter hoop of the snare or tom, often toms can become prone to "rash" where the tom is making contact with the snare drum, or where the rack tom contacts the shell of the bass drum - this can lead to damage to the drum's wrap or lacquered finish. The pad is supplied with two specially designed straps for mounting on rack toms or on bass drums and is also very useful in recording situations to avoid any noise of drum collision. The Rash-Pad is UK made from durable PVC coated polyester and includes a high impact foam inner along with a soft, fleece back to stop even the smallest of scratches occuring. The Rash pad is attached to the drum simply by threading two of the tension rods through the webbing loops.

Tama - 'Hold Tight' Washers

The Tama Hold Tight cup-shaped stainless steel washers contain a rubber ring so the tension rod pushes both the cup washer and the rubber ring. Normally, vibrations will eventually loosen the tension rod. But the softness of Hold Tight's rubber ring keeps it in contact with both the tension rod and the hoop at all times and maintains friction between them so that tension is always preserved. Vater - Vintage Bomber

The Vintage Bomber was designed in collaboration with Otis Brown III, drummer for Jazz Great Joe Lovano. The Vintage Bomber was conceived and designed to replicate the soft but boomy bass drum tones of the great jazz era. The Vintage Bomber's cork center is wrapped with a soft and puffy synthetic covering and is reminiscent in look, feel and sound to the original lamb's wool beaters from decades ago.
